A Community Support Initiative of The JISU Experience

MMHARP provides resources, referrals, and coordinated support for individuals and families experiencing housing and food insecurity. The initiative focuses on dignity, respect, and practical navigation of available services.

MMHARP helps individuals and families identify their needs, understand available options, and connect to trusted community-based resources that support stabilization, nourishment, and overall well-being.

Who MMHARP Serves

Direct assistance is prioritized for individuals and families navigating complex instability:

  • Individuals who are unhoused
  • Single adults without children
  • Working individuals and families facing food gaps or housing instability
  • Young adults aging out of youth-serving systems
  • Students within local school communities experiencing food insecurity

Services are provided based on capacity and available resources.

What Support Looks Like

  • Resource screening and needs identification
  • Referrals to housing, food access, and support services
  • Assistance navigating systems and next steps
  • Periodic food distribution and nourishment support
  • Snack packs and food bags for students experiencing food insecurity, distributed in coordination with schools and community partners

Partnerships

MMHARP works in collaboration with community organizations, service providers, and school partners to strengthen referral pathways, coordinate support, and ensure resources reach those with the greatest need—while avoiding duplication of services.
